SLR Ski & Board Rentals & SLR Outlet Store
Went there with 2 kids aged 10 & 12 for indoor rock climbing. Brilliant. Note.you have to pre book on the day so call first if you are booking. Uses a system like a seat belt so you can make sure the kids are clicked in correctly and they can climb for each climb. I could have easily looked after 3 kids on my own. It cost $17 each for my kids for 1 hour (2020 prices). Awesome rainy day activity.

Great staff - I had a pair of snowboard boots that had snapped their Boa cables. The guys let me know the cables had a lifetime warranty and the only out of pocket expense was their time to replace the cables and re-string. Dropped the boots off at midday and they were ready to be picked up that same afternoon.

I hired an emtb to ride to the top of Ben Lomond and my second day a trance 29r to 7 mile. Jordan and the guys in the shop are absolute legends, I had the best experience and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to ride bikes to go to them. If I had more time in QT I would be going again. Also it's 110% worth hiring a emtb to climb skyline we were at the top in 20 min from the access road and they are still alot of fun on the way down. They have a massive range of bikes to choose from for all skill levels. If you are reading this go hire a bike and ride!

Bought this bike here. Asked to get a new chainset for my bike I bought 1 1/2 years ago. No spare parts available and total cost about half the price buying this bike new.I got as an answer „this bikes are not the best quality…“ I am wondering why they sell this bikes if there is no motivation to fix them.

We have just completed an amazing and professional shopping experience at Snow and Surf. We went through the process of arranging ski boots for our son. The staff sized him correctly, tried different boits and spoke to him about the process. Best ski service we had in years and will be going back. Thank you.

**Update**I downgraded my review from 5 stars to 2 stars because of the way the supervisor handled one of my orders at the time. I ordered white coloured snowboard bindings and while the lady that ordered the binding for me from the manufacturer was nice, when the bindings arrived, the bindings had some small scuff marks on it. I talked to one of the staff about it to see if they could order another one and they said they would need to to ask their supervisor. The supervisor came and talked to me. He did not want to order another one and gave responses that were disgusting/appalling. He said things like this are just small marks

Great rentals, good quality almost new ski boots in the rentals which I was pretty impressed by. Best rental boots I've had in NZ! the staff were good too and very accommodating. Good price as well.

Unbelievable service and they did a great deal in a combo package. Even gave us tips in the shop how to get up in the wakeboard. More than impressed!
