Fantastic flavours, excellent service. We tried a new favourite Chicken Karahi, beside an old familiar favourite Chicken Tikka with awesome rice and naan

Great food. Hummus portion is a bit small. The serving for 2 portion is way too small meat wise but overloaded with rice. Burger was great, lamb mince was excellent and good portion.

Chikos is a beautiful Pacific Rim Fusion restaurant situated on Lincoln Road, West Auckland. The customer service here is world class, with the food being really flavourful and delicious. On the two occasions I've dined here, I've been amazed at the exceptionally pretty presentation of the food, which tastes as good (if not better) than it looks. I'd highly recommend this place for a family dinner, a special date night, or to take someone when you want to surprise them and give them a very memorable experience. This place is amazing, and the staff are really lovely and thoughtful. The beef dishes, pork dishes, salmon dishes and desserts in particular have all been incredible the two times I've been here. Very keen to dine here again soon. Yum! 5/5 Stars! *****

I thought I'd left a review for this place after I ate here a year ago. But apparently I forgot and I feel guilty because the food was great. I'm back in Dunedin now and was looking it up because I'm definitely going back.

Awesome genuine feed, well worth the wait and would highly recommend. No menu so you just say how many and you get more than enough to feed that number and more. My pictures are a single meal for $20. Group are normally served in communal serving. Wait can be a factor but when he starts firing out orders a crowd disappears fast. Worth the wait and best to nominate one person to wait if you are getting take outs. It's not open always so it's pretty hit and miss but when it is it gets busy fast. This is one of those cross Christchurch to get. Really something you really need to try but it will probably not be a single visit.

Authentic Afghan cuisine, great hospitality by the friendly staff/owner, good serving size at affordable price, very spacious dining area all at very handy location of Dundas street. I don't have more stars to rate this place. Will definitely be my place of choice for hangouts with friends and family.

Very nice place food is very good most of it is authentic Afghan. Staff is very friendly, dining-in is good and takeaway is even better.

The food was SO GOOOOD. One of the best dishes i had in New Zealand. The ingredients were fresh, the meat was really tender and tasty.

This place is a gem in Christchurch. Won’t regret for the waiting to receive the order. Perfect value for money, taste and super friendly people.
