What a great place to stay. We stayed with friends while doing the Twin Coast Cycleway. The place is well set up and just great for the kids we had with us - plenty of place to run around and make noise. Facilities are good with everything we needed. The big barn is brilliant for hanging out. Kitchen is well equipped.Really enjoyed our time and would stay again.

Seems like an awesome store, went there with my mum. Was shocked with how the lady on checkout spoke to her. She was buying multiple items, so naturally forgot what one of them were. & she had very little patience & spoke in the most snappy tone of voice. Wow. My mum said it wasn't the first time she's argued with her over something. Perhaps there needs to be a better system, a pen to write down the items? Unless we missed it. Good luck.

Chanced upon this gem of a place while driving around Cromwell. Bill was so kind to show us around the place, we got to feed the sheep, eat apples, pears and so much more! Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Our child at 18 months spent hours playing, chasing chickens, wandering through the macadamia trees, spotting peacocks and pointing at cows. It's the perfect location to hit the cycle way to Horeke and especially great for large groups. Just make sure to stay long enough to fit in everything and make the time to relax. We would happily stay again!

Macadamia Farm
I had a fabulous stay in the cosy caravan. A great location to bike the twin coast trail (literally on their back garden). I biked to Horeke and back to Okaihau on day one of my stay at the farm and to Opua on the second day. Irina and Alexey are great hosts, we had a healing soak at the lovely Ngawha spring after the second day, sooooo needed.Cannot thank you enough Irina for your hospitality and for looking after me like a sister! Thank you Alexey for the music...Highly recommended, I had a memorable holiday full of adventures!!!!!

Wandered around Cromwell looking for berry picking when we chanced upon Poplar Estate. Bill walked out front and explained to us that there was generally no cherry picking this season but he could give us a tour of his farm. He showed us heritage cherry trees, peaches, plums and nectarines. The sweetest we have tasted right off the tree ( of course plucked by Bill himself). Loved the experience and left with cherries and raspberry jam made on the farm. Great guy and great experience.
