Johnstones Hill Tunnels
Great tunnel (would have given 5 stars) but the fact we still have to pay to use it and that the majority of this payment goes toward administering the fee itself is very disappointing. We already pay fuel taxes that are meant to pay for stuff like this. The toll should be removed during the week (if not completely) when ordinary people have to use it to get to work

Can you please tell me when this will no longer be a toll road?I'm sure it was supposed to be paid off within 10 years of opening.Also, during Level 4, it would have been nice for no toll as it should only be essential workers using it, or those going to do essential shopping.

The most useless road I have ever seen. Just nothing but traffic jams on the weekend.... Why pay a toll for a clogged road?

Would be nice if they future proofed the tunnel enough when first built to 3 traffic lanes each! Population keeps expanding and so does commuter traffic and holiday traffic really gets jammed up. This stretch of motorway will need to be 6 lanes total from the current 4 in less than 10 years‼️

Happy to pay a toll on this good quality road to save time and hassall.... But when it's choked up on holiday weekends... take the free scenic route, it's quicker and better looking!

Toll charge is $2.30 which can be a little depressing but don't worry as there always light at the end of the tunnel...
