House of Skate was an awesome experience for our two boys. They looked forward to their lessons every week and learnt new tips and tricks to improve their skating. We look forward to joining Rowan and Chris for future classes.

Very cool skate park, you can brink skates, boards, bikes, and scooters. You do have to pay for it though, and it seems to be a bit small to hang around for long, so may not be something you want to pay for. But still when you first go, it's very fun, and very new and safe. (Just note for those with young kids that the music isn't monitored and there can be some very bad language from time to time). Go check it out!

These guys are next level awesome. My 5 yr old was keen beans to give it a go, and having never stepped on a skateboard before - I was a tad worried. Shouldn’t have - they were fab and made him feel totally at home with everyone else there. Son is keen to go back, and we will recommend to all.

Fantastic coaching, they relate really well with our daughter. She's having a blast learning new tricks every week, and is doing stuff that pushes her out of comfort zone. So pleased we found Skate Ed. All the best! Paula + Louise.

Young Guns Skate School
Young Guns Skate school is THE best. My son (5) goes to the after school sessions and loves it, from not being able to ride a board at his first lesson to now doing Cannonballs, hippie jumps, coffins and small ramps in 5/6 sessions is incredible. The coaches are all super cool and they make sure all the kids have fun and get the extra help they need to get up and skating.Shout out to big Will who takes all the real ‘young’ guns - he makes it super fun with games and beginner tricks… what’s up wolf pack!!!Highly recommend Young Guns - cheers lads!!!

Was an ok experience , the bumping were not really exciting and a bit mehMaybe a bunch of kids or teens if they go together could make a differenceThe rink was nice and clean and big but received no help or support or guidance on skating as promised which was not coolThe price of rental supports are too high, 35$ for each to support if you needed.Staff seemed very flat and not interested in their work at all.Watching the morning games were fun though.Would not go again or recommend in general.

I had a great lesson with Leon! He took me from never having tried a drop in to doing it on my own! Then he got me on the way to rock-fakie and tail tap. He also tuned up my ollies and helped tweak my board setup. He was great at explaining everything, super patient and encouraging all the way through. I highly recommend Aroha Skate if you want to progress your skating!
