Zest OK Auckland
7am construction directly outside my window. They’re constructing a new building next door. Told staff not to use this room anymore but noise is loud enough to hear throughout the building and outside. Do not recommend staying here.

Longburn Adventist College
Everytime I ring, it always goes to answering machine, nobody actually answers the phone, then I had to get someone to drive me out there, to find there’s a lot of staff around, so I don’t understand why none of the staff answer the phone, receptionist lady included…so ignorant.

St George Accommodation
For the price, it is the go-to hotel for newcomers in Welly. Can't expect much from the facilities or rooms (it is not a hotel) but it does have all the things you practically need. Lots of friends to make on the 2nd floor which is why the stay will be more pleasant.

Staff are friendly and the place is quiet and warm. Amenities are kept clean. Good security on site. Plenty of people to chat to or keep to yourself. Good for long or short stay. Easy access to shops and the malls a short distance away.

The Kingsland Lodge
Cancelled booking as soon as I stepped in. Nothing like pictures on website, no space, crowed with people who use, also bar right below. Owner was very polite and lovely

Accommodation Dunedin - Clifton Hall
Although I didn't actually stay at this property, I was given a tour by the lovely owners Hester and Patrick. It is impeccable, well organised, warm and well laid out. The rooms and shared areas are spotless with a good standard of furniture and shared appliances. There is plenty of washing machines and dryers to meet the demand and the location is spot on! Great place, great price.

For what is available and at it's price point I think this is a great place. I was unsure what to expect before I arrived but I was genuinely surprised.The area is beautiful with parks, mall and supermarkets all nearby.The property itself is massive but well maintained and the staff really do have your best interests at heart.The rooms aren't breathtaking but they're functional and secure and the communal areas are cleaned regularly.I have been here 3 weeks and I'm quite content to stay for a while longer.
