It was my first time fishing, Russ was absolutely awesome, he couldn't do enough to make me comfortable... my buddies who were with me are seasoned fishers and said that we were super lucky to have had Russ as skipper... highly recommended, don't delay, book today!

This was one of the best fishing charter experiences that I've ever had. The skipper was incredibly friendly, safety conscience and was a fantastic fishing coach for my young son. I would highly recommend Fat Boy charters for anyone wanting to go fishing in the Bay of Plenty region.

What a fantastic day out with Fatboy Charters. Russ is an absolute champion and he did everything in his power to make sure we had a brilliant day. The boat is fast and comfortable, the gear is top notch and Russ is knowledgeable and helpful. Thoroughly worth it.

There was a group of us (5) 6 counting the captain ,awesome experience, Russ the captain is a awesome host. His knowledge of helping people get to the best spots for a greater chance to catch fish is also awesomeRuss sense of humour is also great and goes.the extra mile to make you feel most welcome.If I we're to rate this service out of 10 I would give it 15.It doesn't finish there

THE BEST charter boat i have ever been on. Big enough to have your own space but small enough that you get a lot of attention & the crowd isn't massive. Caught my first & only Kingfish on this boat! Cannot recommend enough. The few times i have been on this boat have been perfect. I have never gone home empty handed. Great knowledge. Great skills. Lovely chap.

Went out with Russ a couple of months ago and while fishing my reel broke! No problem mate - he lent me one of his - gratis... and that's the spirit in which the whole day proceeded - fantastic host. Could prattle on but suffice to say that next time I charter it will be with Russ again.
