Pleasant Valley Blueberries
Check their Facebook page for opening dates. $12/kilo pick your own blueberries and $5 blueberry ice cream. Plenty of blueberries when we were there, Jan 2022. Biodegradable bag provided. The area is covered by net which helps keep the birds away and gives some shade too. Plenty of parking.

Lots if berries to pick. Dont need to worry about it being barren or running out of strawberries to pick. Strawberries we paid to pick was also very cheap to bring home

Nice day in the sun, picked a bucket.The point is they're wild, not glasshouse flowers.At first I didn't see a lot of flowers because of the weeds, but in the grasses, there they are. All types and colours,whatever is in season. Great fun

Great afternoon outing for all ages. Berries are on the small side this time of year. Awesome mixed Berry icecream in a waffle cone just tops off the afternoon. Permanent shade structure near shop would be great.

Currently 33° and went here to get some real fruit ice-cream. Great idea on a day like today. There are several picnic tables with umbrellas to provide some shade. $6.50 for large, $4.50 for small.

A much closer option for people in Hamilton to PYO Blueberries. The field is big, the fruits are huge and flavoursome, the owner/staff are friendly and helpful and the price is very reasonable. Make sure to bring cash and your own container.
