Best gym in Nelson! Beautiful clean space, great classes, massage & equipment, and friendly knowledgeable staff.

H2O Xtream has long been my favorite pool, and after an extended break in visiting it lived up to all my memories! Three slides, an intermittent wave pool, a very fast river ride, and several hot zones for the adults (spa, steam room, sauna). It's unfortunate that the day we were there the cafe was very closed, and I also see it will be closed for a year starting in Feb for expansion.

We could not fault Old Bones Lodge. Beautiful site. Lovely private hot tubs. Lovely owners. Stayed in our MH great rated for powered site

I had a very disappointing experience with the fellow on reception, Matt, who mocked me for wanting to use my gold card- making a cheap comment about saving $3! He seemed to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder and made a point of telling me he was 'receptionist of the year' or some such thing. Fortunately for me there was an issue with the eftpos machine which wouldn't recognise my debit card and so i took that as a sign- and left. Menfriends must be making money by the bucketful if they want to turn away clients in such a cavalier fashion. Avoid the place!

We went for an afternoon splash at the splash pad. It was free to go in and let the kids run around outside. There were a few tables under shade available. Both nephews (1 and 5yo) really enjoyed it. The swimming facilities inside also look new and nice but we just went to the splash pad.

The most overpriced gym in the area.Firstly, the opening hours are NOT the same as advertised on the door. If you live in the nearby apartments and think you'll have time to use the gym or sauna after dinner, you're wrong.Secondly, don't bother paying for the sauna. Not only is the sauna constantly broken, missing heaters, or not turning on, the sauna also only gets to around 49 degrees.Third, the staff are extremely condescending. I took a personal trainer session and, despite being a quite fit rock-climber, the trainer insisted on teaching me how to do a pushup. When I explained that I wanted to learn how to use the weights and machines, I was told that I'd graduate to that after this session. It seemed clear that they'd string you along with degrading exercises until you pay for more sessions to learn something beyond primary-school PE.Don't confuse the quiet atmosphere for a judgement free, peaceful environment. I imagine the members are simply silently fuming at being locked into extortionate prices for a terrible gym.FYI, they never emailed me after the message below

Absolutely beautiful location! Had a lovely stay with amazing views in the loft. So accommodating, had everything we could need. So clean and comfortable. Beautiful pool and spa area with gorgeous view of the stars at night. Would recommend to anyone!

I love doing Pilates classes at Connect with Charlotte. The classes are small so Charlotte can give every client attention. The studio itself is very airy and pleasant to be in with ambient background music and plants. The studio has recently purchased brand new reformers which are lovely to use. There is also other equipment and props which can be utilised.

I had a facial and was really looking to a relaxing experience. It was mediocre at best. unconfident hands with a very light touch. It was noisy, sounded like the dishes were being done in the background. Makeup wipes rinsed and reused so my face did not feel clean. Don't think I would recommend

I've been attending Synergy Gym for a number of years now, this is a very supportive environment and the personal trainers are very good. The support I have received recovering from various injuries (not suffered during training) has been phenomenal.
