We got Willie to come and quote some fencing and gate hanging at our place after seeing the magic he produced at a family members house. Communication was excellent, turned up on time, gave an itemised quote so we knew exactly what we were paying and where. After accepting quote, he was here within a week and smashed out the job in a couple of days. Top notch equipment produced a fast result which is what we were after. A couple of minor changes were no hassle for Wille. All in all, very happy with the job and will have Willie do all of our future fencing requirements. Cheers Willie

We had a great experience with Walton Excavations for our property in Awahuri. Communication was easy and timely and the fences look far better than we expected. Our area of work had very uneven ground and was very overgrown. Willie got the area and the fences looking very tidy despite these challenges. Willie provided a quick, easy and fairly priced service for a difficult job. We would highly recommend him and his business to others.

Highly recommend Walton's for any fencing needs. Willie and his team did a great job supplying and installing stock fencing and gates at our lifestyle block. Willie responds quickly, quotes professionally and installs to a high standard. Can't ask for better than that.

We trusted this person to take good care of us but we were let down. His prices are high except for his prices per meter and our netting is all loose now and gates not hung straight. He also charged $650 for a small gate that he quoted us about $250 and it started to rust after 8 weeks, he did not offer to fix it or compensate us, we were overcharged and rather disappointed by the workmanship I would not recommend. Highly upset.EDIT: My husband also said he never had a conversation with you about his pay, he would never discuss that with anyone. Would be a bit scary to be paid $25 an hour for a management role.... I believe in fairness and people being paid correctly but not a rusted gate that's unfair quality. You are welcome to fix the gate and tighten the netting and I will happily remove the review.

Small place easy to miss

I can only endorse previous reviews regarding Strathnairn cottage as it is very clean, has well appointed kitchen & is very peaceful & located on a quiet rural road.However the Strathnairn cottage website claim it is only 12 minutes drive to Martinborough is absolutely a load of rubbish! A local who knows the corners on the (very windy in parts) road driving like a maniac would not even make it in 12 minutes! A far more realistic, comfortable drive takes closer to 20 minutes! Paying $218 per night for a cottage 20 minutes from town on a windy, country road without cellphone coverage, when one wants to explore the areas wineries/eateries, I question if it is value for money compared to better located accommodation!Steve FranklinRotorua

Willie did an amazing job on our fence and gates, he even came back promptly to repair a fence that was crushed by a big tree after the big winds - really happy. He was easy to communicate with, gave professional advice, itemised quotes and excellent time management. He have recommended him to friends and family who also have had a great experience.
