Edit: Literally the most frustrating shopping experience I've ever had? The whole process stretched out for months, with us going without a functioning fridge for weeks at a time. We eventually requested a refund and the broken fridge was collected. It then took 2 WEEKS of me repeatedly emailing and requesting the status of my refund before I received my $600. No sense of urgency, totally unprofessional, and no sincere apology from anyone. Never buying from Trade Depot again and warning all of my family and friends against them.---We bought a brand new, $600 fridge freezer from Trade Depot a little over a month ago; on the 23rd of February we called to say that the fridge half was no longer cooling. We waited a week (with no functioning fridge!) for repair people to come look at it and tell us it needed a new seal; it's nearly four weeks later and they have not returned. Our email enquiry was not replied to, and when we called again it was unclear when the new seal is coming (or if it's even been ordered), and when we can expect to have a working fridge again.We are really disappointed and frustrated, and do not plan to shop at Trade Depot again. All the staff we've interacted with are lovely and we don't blame the sales representatives, but feel we have wasted our money - we have been without a fridge for almost a month and had to waste a large amount of food which has gone off as a result of this.

Good selections and great prices, always cheaper than Mitre 10 for similar items. However the service is non existent. During peak hours such as weekends, it is impossible to find anyone to assist you. We were there midday today, barely seen any staff around on Western side of the store. ... Must have gone to lunch. So if you are an expert, know what you need to get and no advice needed, Bunnings would be the right place for you. But if you are a first timer, Mitre 10 is the one to go as they have experienced staff to give you useful info. A trade off between service and price when it comes to Bunnings. But with DIY Home renovations/improvements, you don't really want to get it wrong. This is the same for Constellation Store I went to just yesterday. Not to mention only one staff assisted checkout counters and rest are self assisted.(sumilar to the warehouse/Countdown etc)

Awesome best value and service

The installation staff brought the ordered door with them so no storage problem for me. Friendly and instantly getting on with the job, they were well turned out, polite and not noisy...I am delighted with the care they took in getting the screen perfectly aligned with the house framework and leaving nothing behind. :) PS Love the insect screen door - perfect!

Absolute disaster.We approved plans for a kitchen design and after the kitchen island was installed in the wrong spot we went back to the plans to find out that without our knowledge or consent the distance between the back bench and the kitchen island was changed (increased by about 10%) and no one bothered to tell us.Well they didn’t even follow this and installed it further out than even that (20%). When asked why it wasn’t installed as per the plans, we got a run around that was beyond belief. So now we are stuck with less space.Extremely dissatisfied with this level of service.

Like the other Mitre 10 businesses, the building is massive and spacious. The staffs are friendly and smiling. They offer Afterpay which is useful if you want to buy some appliances or houseware equipments.

Bought a drill on Saturday had to return it on Monday as the trigger was broken. The two guys behind the desk were more interested in watching the cricket on the tv than being helpful. One of them was very rude aswel.

Would not recommend this company to anyone . 10 months to get all screens and doors . Not very good communication at all , the owner of this business is actually very disrespectful and rude . very quick to want your money but very slow to fulfill the work . This has been a huge effort to get our job done and it is of very poor condition . Wrong measurements the main problem as well as very long waiting times for screens . To the point of me ringing for 2 weeks straight every day to get some one to answer . If you like drama this would be the place to go otherwise steer clear .

Service and customer support is average. Their range was limited to non existant for silicones, Tapes and Paint accessories. Mitre 10 Mega now over the road...kills them in all areas. We even moved out kitchen design from Placemakers to Mega Mitre10..due their service shoddiness.
