Couldn't take my kids to lessons over lockdown last year. Many weeks went by and assumed we'd get a reimbursement (even a small amount would have helped) as government was helping business owners out. Owner flatly refused and even guilt tripped by saying they continued to support their kids six or seven extra curricular activities. I explained that we were struggling financially and could only afford one extra curricular activity. I was offered complementary lessons the next term. Went to book next term and a substantial booking fee (that wasn't added last time) had suddenly appeared? Even though I was an existing customer. Realised I was having the mickey taken out of me, so I rebooked at a school in Papamoa. It was cheaper, the people are kinder and the kids are doing so much better now. I'm now out of pocket by a full term but it's worth it.

A nice place to hangout with family. Cost $6 to enter for adults and $3 for kids which only gives access to the pools and spa. But besides the pools" and spa there are few activities you and your kids can do (for additional 12$/head for full day).Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks and you can easily spend whole day there."

Took my 20 week old baby girl for her first swim, and it was great. Ideal place for a family swim, nice and clean and good parent changing rooms.

I go to the aquatic centre regularly, I've always found it to be clean, tidy, the staff are polite and friendly, I've never had any issues. They have been great when we have attended birthday parties here, at times it can get very busy but that doesn't seem any different to any other aquatic centre. There are 3 pools the baby pool it warm enough, the kids/ middle pool is I little cooler than I would like it but I'm sure not everyone would agree with me.The big pool is the coolest but as someone who does many length I think I would overheat if it was any warmer. There are plenty of changing areas including 4 family rooms that are very spacious.

Cleaning needs to be better .People swimming and going to the sauna in their trousers and T-shirt is unacceptable. Cafe is lovely staff members are very nice but needs to be cleaned more .Always looks very dirty (tables and floor)

I came into Te Rauparaha cafe for a coffee and bite to eat. I love a good coffee and this didn’t disappoint. Perfect temperature, with just the right amount of vanilla. It’s a lovely open, airy cafe with super friendly staff. The cake was delicious too!
