This course helped me feel more excited about birth and parenting, it touched on the potential hurdles, while keeping positive and grounded in how to manage and cope with them. We enjoyed the focus on improving mental wellbeing and the opportunity to discuss ideas raised by Christina as a couple was invaluable. There was a lot of helpful information delivered over the two days, content was able to be easily revisited due to the amazing power point slides provided. Thanks for an incredible two days.

Global Women
Without doubt a company that has much to contribute to the feminine empowerment in the corporate environment. They have excellent programs focused on corporate education for gender equity within corporate organizations, with a solid theoretical basis for this. In my opinion, all organizations should have an empathy for this cause, and support it.They empower leaders with the support and tools they need to drive forward diversity and inclusion. They are a community, a launchpad for action, and an influential voice.Their vision is for leaders across all sectors to be as diverse as New Zealand itself, to improve social and economic prosperity for all New Zealanders. Established in 2009, they exist to drive this change. The objectives of the Trust shall be to increase diversity in leadership in New Zealand through promoting, encouraging and facilitating the development of New Zealand women including (but without limitation):a) providing women with relevant opportunities to develop professionally;b) building a supportive and collegial environment for New Zealand women to develop their professional capabilities, competences and skills;c) offering New Zealand women opportunities for focused and relevant interactions in order to learn and improve capabilities, competencies and skills;d) encouraging and assisting New Zealand women to take up roles on private and public boards by developing and supporting their professional capabilities, competencies and skills; e) providing New Zealand women with opportunities to broaden and build knowledge and networks, including internationally; andf) increasing the representation of ethnic minorities in leadership roles in New Zealand including by (without limitation) being involved in projects and other activities which aim to increase the representation of ethnic minorities in leadership roles in New Zealand and which promote the rights of ethnic minorities to equal opportunities in New Zealand.Ancillary objectives of the Trust shall be:g) developing specialised programmes, activities and benefits for Members and other New Zealand women: and h) nurturing talented middle management New Zealand women to senior leadership roles through mentoring programmes, providing scholarships and influencing New Zealand business community leaders.i) insofar as these objectives advance the charitable objectives set out in paragraph (a) above.

Highly recommend attending one of your courses. The 'Preparing for parenthood antenatal workshop' was really valuable, great information and was presented in an easy to understand, relatable and non-judgemental way. Thank you for the support you are providing couples as they become parents, it makes such a difference and was great to have the focus be on us, and providing us ways to support each other through the journey.

Would highly recommend attending one of Matrescence NZ's workshops! I attended a 6 week online course after the arrival of my baby and it was so helpful in managing that difficult transition in my fourth trimester. I loved connecting with other mums experiencing similar feelings, and our facilitator Christina was fantastic - so helpful to have someone who has a psychology background AND is a mum, she had so much helpful information and advice. The course definitely helped my adjustment to motherhood (matrescence). Thanks so much Christina!
