Carl's Jr used to be a really nice (if slightly more expensive) option over the Scottish place,or the King. Sadly, in the last while standards have dropped.While staff were pleasant enough, there seemed to be no interest in service, and they were just going by rote.The drinks machine was out of raspberry. When I told them, I was told they couldn't fix it now, and it would be done later. How hard is it to swap a container of syrup?The burger was ok, if a bit flavourless. Definitely not worth the extra few dollars compared to the competition.

Friendly staff. Clean place, good location & parking. Except for a little hiccup initially, great service!Burger was well-made and not just slapped together. Oreo Milkshake is fantastic. Fries were a fresh batch. Love the ketchup AND mayo served to go alongside!

Dirty, cs they didnt greet us. All standing around looking like they have nothing to do. Waited for 10mmts for food. Good came out and cold, not a good start to first time trying carls jr.

Went there for an early dinner, only to be told the lamb had run out. Two of the four meals ordered came 15 minutes later than the first two. Table service lacked attention to detail. Food was nice once out, but service at the Palmerston North franchise needs improvement, and better training for server staff is suggested.

Sal's Authentic NY Pizza Westgate
Garlic knots had no garlic, just tasted like warm clumps of bread. My first order was burnt and stiff. Staff swapped it for new slices but took my full sauce pottle out.

Love all the burgers here! Especially the chicken ones, a lot of favour and they are big and filling!! Most people that work there are nice and have good chat. You can also get the app and check in 5 times to get free chips or onion rings, I'm happy they have kumara chips now and they are great!!! They complete the burger. Definitely recommend for any burger lovers

Food wasn't prepared in a hygienice manner i.e no hair nets or glove after servicing, served in a takeaway bag but was clear we were dinning in. Food also made my stomach upset an hour after, over charged for drinks won't be returning
