Worst bed I've had in a hostel in nzSprings digging In, more comfortable sleeping on the couch or rocks tbhNot dirty but not clean, not. Enough kitchen spaceSays free parking but only spaces at the hostel itself

Unfortunately we came in to this place the other day, thinking it was the motel that we had booking for (which was the one next door). Found the owner sitting in his living room and the way he spoke to us was not quite friendly which prompts me to come and see the reviews of this place. The score does match his attitude.

Our 3 kitties have stayed with Erin at the Big Meow for 45 days and both Erin and Ross have simply been outstanding in not only providing wonderful care, warmth, food but also play time, company, love and regular cuddles. Thank you Erin and Ross our kitties have simply loved their stay with you and they will be back again for another relax and enjoyable stay at the Big Meow. Hi team. I didn't get a chance to stay at the property but had an odd experience that I am so greatful for. I booked 2 rooms recently through booking.com but found out it was on a wrong location. It was non refundable if cancelled or if something happened in between. I reached out to the owners of Alhambra Oaks and they graciously and considerately understood my circumstances. You guys made my day. Thank you so much. Definitely going to choose Alhambra Oaks if in Dunedin and will tell friends and family. I know the team is honest with their business and looks after their clients over and beyond.

One of the most terrible places I've ever stayed!!Find my TA review and the owner's response....Yes, I was a submariner, for 10 years. No, I don't hire towels, especially from places of very questionable cleanliness. I carry my own clean towel, just in case I come across a place like this. The shaking of the windows and BED definitely WAS worse than when I lived next to a railway line! I get paid well; I chose budget accommodation in order to use the rest of my allowance to shout the guests to dinner and a birthday cake. And I absolutely LOVE my job! I didn't pee on the floor; I was sitting down, you moron. See the photo for the ACTUAL sign on the toilet wall....

Family stayed here while they visited. We went to see the grounds and venue, and it was very impressive. Large garden and pool to relax in.

We got a totally unexpected upgrade for a start. We have absolutely nocomplaints. Highly recommended to stay. Real value for money

Love this place - great value for money, super chill vibe. And, when I was solo travelling over Christmas, the owners gave me an awesome plate of Christmas food - special thanks to Barbara! :)
