Food was ok. My wrap feel apart as soon as I opened the paper wrapping, taste was good and was plenty enough for lunch.Service was good....however we had to wait around 10 to 15 mins for the loaded wedges..not a real issue.The shop/ eating area was dirty, seats had scrap food on them, shop had 2 sparrows eating crumbs from the floor....we chose to eat in the ute.Sat 1st April 2023

The best raspberry cheese cake I’ve ever had.My partner & I had 3 plates between us, bird bowl, the Vietnamese crepe & sprouted toast.The bird bowl was incredible - & the sprouted toast too. But the Vietnamese crepe was not what we expected. The crepe itself was yummy with the sauce but the filling was just salad with 3 cashews. Very disappointing.And the staff not so friendly.Very trendy cafe

Wild Pear Kitchen is more than a plant-based cafe - it has spontaneously created a community of people seeking food that is fresh and alive.The New Plymouth cafe has tasty soups (the Thai pumpkin is the best I’ve ever tasted), a medley of fresh and colourful salads and delicious baked dishes (always changing) for vegans, vegetarians and people seeking healthy food options.The welcoming staff make you feel like you’ve come home for breakfast, lunch or just popped in for a coffee, hot chocolate or smoothie. For a treat, try a vegan donut, lamington or cheesecake - they are divine. This is easily my favourite cafe in Taranaki and in Aotearoa (New Zealand), not that I’ve been everywhere.

Best pitapit I've been to! small group of staff, but amazing, kind and helpful. The food is also sooo good and huge for the price! The best part about this pitapit is the customer service they give.It's a great for anyone with dietary requirements. Let them know and they'll let you know if what you're getting is okay (to the point where some know what's in the dressings) and things are cooked separately on different stoves.Even if you dont have dietary requirements they give great recommendations if you're not sure on what to buy.There's also a great deal with events cinema (just accross the place) for a pita and a movie ticket (~$20)

If I ever become a Saint–I will surely be one of 'darkness. ' I will continually be absent from Heaven–to light the light of those in darkness on earth. Service was very good, Chantelle pretty cool

Very dissapointed. On Thursday I placed a pickup Uber eats order. Walking to and from the restaurant takes 10 mins so I set off around the time the pick up order was due. When I arrived I was dismayed to discover my order had been forgotten and was not even being prepared, and would be another 15 mins! Bye lunch break. The man on duty apologized, but when I got the food the order was wrong. He had given me the wrong order. While I understand he was busy and alone, this is no excuse for wrong food. I think from now on I will pay the extra and have it delivered from Te atatu.
