In this day and age most companies dont want to know you after selling you there product. This is definitely not the case with custom awnings( Mitch) I brought an awning and had a small problem with it. Mitch went out of way to make sure it was put right. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking at buying there product. Thanks again Mitch

Do not buy from this company took $1000 had our money for over a month never had the awning, had to chase to find out what's happening several times he is selling products he doesnt have in the country no mention of having to wait 4-6 weeks appalling customer service when he couldnt supply after a month he hung up me when I asked when we would get the canvas and told me he would refund us after messing us around for a month. Worst experience ever!

Andrew installed a new shower into our motorhome however there were a few issues but the biggest was the finish that was appalling and there were gaps in the ceiling and finishing was below what would have been expected

If there was a higher rating than 5 stars, these guys would have received it; absolutely awesome! My 12 metre motorhome/bus was in Platinum's workshop for 4 weeks, as the former owners of my bus were somewhat remiss with maintenance and upgrades, so there were a lot of items to remedy, replace, modify, etc.The services selected in this review only reflect a small amount of what Platinum performed, including stripping and resurfacing the entire roof, sourcing/installing a completely new heat pump/aircon unit, new ceiling skylights throughout, sourcing/installing an electric entrance step, superbly re-lined the shower and toilet, installed a new vanity, installation of my new 360 degree camera system, sub-woofer box installation, extended queen bed frame creation and slat installation, and many others things! If Platinum don't perform a certain specialist area (eg. auto electrical), then they have seamlessly partnered with other quality trades to deliver the same standard.When your motorhome is in a workshop for 4 weeks, you expect some big bills - but Platinum's fees for their services are definitely reasonable and they stick to their quotes, or let you know if something needs to be estimated for instead. I even received a HUGE opportunity to learn more about my bus, with Andrew Tap's gracious sharing of knowledge and time. Thank you guys!!

We bought an intenz free standing 4 mt awning and are delighted with it.It is very well made and strong.This week we’ve had extreme winds and our awning stood the test of time unscathed.Unfortunately in a short time it grew significant mould and despite treatment sent to us by the company it has continued to worsen

Excellent products and service

After two incidents to my motorhome, Dethleffs Trend, which is covered by COVI, one from my terrible driving skills and the other of NOT my fault, I found Andrew which he was easy to deal with. He managed to get all panels that were damaged replaced, repaint the front end and even replaced the wing mirror where a previous panel beater I visited down south said that the insurance company would not cover.After leaving my home on wheels for the last 8 months in Andrews hands, I returned and what I sore exceeded my expectations, he even got the insurance company to replace our motorhome logo transfer sticker.

I roughly bought my RTT from Mitch approximately 3 months ago. I was genuinely impressed with his product as I found it more superior than the Feldon tent as it had more features such as the skylight and better canvas material.But the proof was in the pudding when my tent suffered a mishap. Where my father drove my tent into the roof of a underground car park. I was surprised that the tent got away with minimal to no damage. Just shows the high quality of the hinges and the aluminium base.Mitch was soo helpful and generous. He accommodated me by helping me fit the tent back on my roof. Not only that he hooked me up with a new cover as the old one was ripped. He mended the minor ding and ensured everything was to a top notch standard before letting me go. A true perfectionist.Mitch is a gem of a guy and I would not hesitate recommending him and it products to my friends and family.

This review is for a intenze roof top tent. Bottom line: good product, frustrating as heck to figure out.I purchased this roof top tent in 2018/2019.I give the product itself a good 4.5 stars. It is made well and with good quality canvas. The Seams are sealed and the stiching is top notch.Sleeping in the tent is nice. The mattress is ok we have added another foam sqwab on top (double foam mattress topper from the warehouse) for extra comfort and this can be folded away into the tent each time so no fuss getting it in and out. The tent has good zips and Mozzy netting.the reason I am giving the review a three stars is due to the lack of instructions given. The instructions provided are almost useless.give yourself a good half a day to figure it all out and know that you will need a good tool kit and some practical know how. It took us just over a year to realize that the cover which goes over the tent when it's folded ontop of your car actually has a zip on feature with velcroe too. We were driving around with rope over it. Some simple instructions could have helped us there. Sure I could have called the company and asked them heaps of annoying questions but I'm not that kind of person, I hate bugging people so we just accepted that we couldn't figure things out or whatever. Typical kiwis we don't complain... I wasn't going to review till today when I finally found the zip system on the cover after I was going to see on some tie downs... Holy moly it looks like there's a zip of sorts in here!! Funny thing is I consider myself a reasonably practical chick. and my man is too and is a tradie but even then we seemed to have failed... Anyone lacking in practical sense would really battle.. The company needs to spend some money and time and get some really good instructions sorted, perhaps giveSaid product to some folks as it arrives and watch them struggle..then re write the manual.. oh also the window leavers, have fun figuring out those!!!

Used Platinum for new water tank , vents on the roof , shower repairs, window repairs just name a few.Andrew and his team are so professional and customer focused. Andrew , Even having suffered a leg injury made sure our motor home was completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. Would recommendhis business to anyone.
