Indian Muslim restaurant

Last week we bought fried rice from this shop, it was amazing. There was no added color or chemical in it only the natural ingredients and natural spices added in to it. And the rice looked white. It was so good.We bought the same fried rice yesterday, it was horrible. The rice looked very dark brown. They added so called soya sauce in the rice, which I think it was not a quality sauce just some chemicals. And there are no natural spices added like before. After having it my whole body got inflammation,So I took couple of anti inflammatory tablets and going to doctors today.I don’t understand why they are not keeping consistency.Why government is not enforcing food safely. The substandard sauces, food color and materials making people very sick.I noticed that they use dark red color in the dishes as well.When I asked the shop owner about the red color, he said I myself do not eat food color, this is to make the food presentable.This food color need to be banned because it makes people sick. It can come in various qualities and it can be just deadly chemicals.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill, cool and the staff is also really friendly. Food was very good quality all around and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend the butter chicken burger.

I've eaten ALOT of curry in my life all through NZ - mainly butter chicken. This one was easily in the top 3 if not best of them all. Mouthwateringly tender bits of chicken (and a decent amount), perfectly spiced medium butter chicken sauce with texture that held (hate them runny or like tomato soup) and just delish in general. Naan was great too, not too thick or rubbery.Lunch special as in picture is $13.50 and Saturdays chef is the one who has perfected thisHighly rate this place

I ordered the kadhai chicken with rice and naan on Uber eats. I got regular which I thought would be like medium spice, but it was so hot all I could taste was the chilli and my mouth was burning (Im Indian and am used to eating medium spiced food).The curry was very heavy and oily I wouldn’t order it again.The Naan was really dry they need to use some butter on the outside to keep it moist.

I have never done this sort of thing as I sort of think when you get food from anywhere its always a risk. However, I was so floored by what my family and I had from Tikka House that I felt like I had no option. We ordered the Tikka Platter which has a mix of meat and seafood pieces coated in a Tikka masala and cooked in the normal way. We also ordered the Butter Chicken and that was where we struck a problem. I have had butter chicken from various restaurants both dine-in and street-food both in Western countries and the Middle East and this was the worst I have ever had. It essentially was chicken pieces in cheap tomato soup. There was no redeeming qualities at all. From the taste to the smell it was just horrible. We had ordered our food later than what would be normally considered dinner time in NZ and if the restaurant had been opened still when I went to eat it I would have made the effort to take it back to the restaurant. I will not say that the restaurant as a whole were awful because they weren't. When I picked up our order they were happy to make naan for me on the spot no questions asked and that was much appreciated. Who knows maybe they were having an off night but because of this experience we will never order from here again.

Just got two butter chicken lunch meals, not edible, the amount of salt in the butter chicken is horrendous. Absolutely horrible, luckily we got naans so we had something to eat, will not be back, and would not recommend.

I'm sorry to say that food was not good, but the butter chicken was way too salty. Kids could not eat it. Curry and Biryani are not eatable way to spicy even though we request mild. Yogurt for the Biryani seemed to be watered down. Will not be back at all. Total price $70 not worth it

The menu was detailed with a wide selection on offer. A very pleasant dining experience. We were struggling to finish. I did enjoy the chicken tikka brought out to our table on a hot sizzling plate. The breads were fresh and hot and the raiki (?) Yoghurt/green dip was fresh and appertising. We have been a few times now and have always enjoyed the quality. The staff were very attentive and obliging.

We celebrated a 50th birthday here, the food is always great, staff really helpful and atmosphere very conducive for any event. Highly recommended.

The best Indian food I have ever had. Our meal was absolutely amazing. The chicken just fell apart, it was so tender. The service was good and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
