Best cleanest room iv ever stayedThis by far is my favourite and I will be back! No pool or spa but who cares when you get a super clean super pretty comfy roomThe stuff are polite and very attendingI will be back it will be my first choice as I have stayed at a lot off hotels including the cordis. and that’s meant to be better but I’m in-love with this hotel also best location note however is paid parking but who cares reallyThank you for a great stay and can’t wait to come back. :)

Friendly staff but the motel needs a complete make over. The price is way too much for the standard of the rooms.- Stains & marks on carpet- There was hair on the floor & in bath in the bathroom. I don’t think it had actually been cleaned.- Brown water came out of tap- Bathroom sink had brown stains all through it- We both got a sore back from the bed- There was tea etc & milk which was greatOverall, they shouldn’t be charging $130 a night for this standard of room. Wow.

Great to have daily room clean, only there two nights, but appreciated clean towels, beverage sachet top up etc. friendly staff at reception

Location was perfect with easy access to the motorway. everything else was great other than maybe more supplies given ie, 3 towels for 3 people instead of 2.

The best thing about this place is 6he staff. So warm, kind and caring. Made a massive difference in a tricky week.Such a convenient central location with scooter and Uber access its great.

Poor customer service, Arnold (manager) was threatening to revoke hotel credit over the phone based off my attitude, considering we had just lost our flights to the city due to the cyclone (something out of our control), not sure what kind of attitude he was expecting after losing so much money.Very unprofessional service and way of dealing with a customer that’s just thrown money at the front door.Keep your credit mate.Cheers

Stayed here with friends for a concert night. Location was excellent, walked to and from our venue. Staff at front desk are great. Parking is very tight but usable- better for small cars. Rooms are spacious and modern. Very nice, but housekeeping lacking. 2 half empty milk bottles in the fridge, one out of date. Dirt on wall above ensuite shower and the last visitors feedback card still there- and filled out!

STAY AWAYThis was an absolute disappointment. Mold everywhere smelled like smoke and the furniture was disgusting.Tried the phone number provided and no answer.Sent and email stating I am not keeping my small child in that place and they didn't even have the decency to reply

The Astra Motor Lodge is a modest establishment but I've given it five stars as it suited our needs in every way. We were met with a bright, friendly reception. It is the second time we have stayed here over the years due to its location a couple of minutes from the Waikato Hospital. The unit was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed and two pillows each and bedside lamps bright enough to read by. The bathroom was top rate offering a spa bath as well as shower and all the soaps and lotions one could need. Proximity to the road was not a noise problem for us, but we did have a unit at the back. Would definitely stay again and can recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly locale.

Stayed 29/01/2023 on business. Very clean and comfortable with freindly front of house staff at desk. Private car park was a huge bonus. Happy to recommend and will staying again
