Diagnostic Medlab

Had to go to Tauranga Hospital Pathlab this morning. The woman in reception was just awesome. She was so respectful and helpful to everyone regardless of who they were. The phlebotomist was great. She really put me at ease and was so friendly . Can't speak highly enough of the staff.

The very best care was given to me. Honestly, the most amazing team. Thank you!

I went here on the 22nd Feb for a blood test. I have an aversion to needles as I have had some pretty bad experiences. I informed my nurse, who promptly rolled her eyes and said 'you girls' - I am 40, so not sure I qualify as a 'girl' but anyway...I tried again and said I was afraid of needles, she mumbled something, so I said I had had a bad experience. She didn't care, was rough as guts and I have a huge bruise to show for it. Terrible to be treated like this, I don't like acknowledging my fear and to be basically mocked with little sympathy is just plain shi**y.

The staff are very busy with a full room the time I have been waiting, over 45 mins so far and they seem to under a lot of pressure with PPE testing of people from their vehicles but are still all being polite, professional and friendly. Thank you to your team.

A big thank-you to Linda and Wendy, who did the biopsy for me in Dec 2022. Surprisingly, their professions and kindness made the procedure meant to be scary enjoyable. They are definitely credit to your team. You have no idea what the precious kindness means to woman who undergoes procedures.

Outstanding services, outstanding communications, I would rate 10 stars if I could, everyone I have dealt with here have been very caring. Couldnt thank the staff enough.

Went on a Saturday at 11.20. Would not let people in the door because apparently they only had 2 staff on. There is nowhere else open to take blood in Tauranga on Saturday so maybe you need to be open longer or have on call staff. Not good enough!!!
