I know the word is overused, because people will describe a good eggs bene this way, but my SMILE procedure with Dr Kent was lifechanging. A week on from my surgery and I'm blown away with the quality of life improvement. Thank you so much Dr Kent and team!

Dr Kent has changed my lifeAnyone reading this review and uncertain about getting the procedure - just do it !Ernest Smolej The Clinic Co-Ordinator took me through my eye tests, very thorough, explained what he was doing and why.The final results were discussed slowly ,the pros & cons of each procedure, giving me time to ask lots of questions, following up with information sheets on all procedures + costs, for me to contact the Clinic if I wanted to take the next step.Dr Kent put me at ease straight away at my second appointment . He went through results and gave me different options, explaining all as he went. I felt confident when leaving I was in safe hands.Surgery day you have anaesthetic eye drops given 10 min apart 3 times in both eyes.You feel nothing in surgery,yes there are noises around you but you feel at ease starting with the left eye then returning for the right. 15min in surgery each time.I had Cataract/ Intraocular /Trifocals lens.You have a full eye exam done following day ,taking away post operative instructions and scrip, another appointment made for 6 week check… followed by more follow up as the months go by…Any chance you are to call, any queries call.Couldn’t ask for better service from reception staffThank you Fendalton Eye Clinic

After 10 years of wearing contacts/glasses, I finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to do something about it!I can’t believe how seamless the whole process was with re: vision, right from the consultation through to the surgery.I had really hyped myself up for the lasik procedure, but I needn’t have worried. The procedure was completely painless, thanks to the numbing drops!! Dr Trevor Gray reassured me through each step and kept me informed about what was happening. Kyomi even held my hand throughout the procedure - it’s the little touches that really make it. What a beautiful calming space they have created. Within less than 24 hours I was already seeing better than 20/20. A life changing experience!For anyone that’s thinking about getting laser eye surgery done, you will not regret it - you’ll be left wondering why you didn’t do it sooner!! The staff at Visique Upper Hutt are really friendly and they really look after you. I love my new glasses and I am seeing so well with them. They needed some adjustments and each time I went I was made to feel very comfortable and like I was not troubling them at all.

My eye issues require regular visits to an ophthalmologist. Over several years I have consistently had warm and professional attention at Eyes and Eyelids. I am so grateful to have found a Practice which combines professional excellence with interpersonal respect and warmth. I look forward to appointments which under other circumstances could be highly anxiety provoking. This a small, friendly Practice where all staff contribute to my feeling valued, welcomed and in safe hands.

Visited Tauranga Eye Specialists yesterday. Although I arrived about 20mins early, they greated me happily. The whole experience of the appointment was so professional.All my tests were completed by really friendly and efficient technicians. They explained everything thoroughly and all results and notes were ready for Dr Kent Chow's viewing by the time I reached his office.Kent was very thorough, explained things in simple terms for me and was extremely polite and professional. I walked out of the appointment having experienced fantastic service and all the answers I was looking for.Thank you Tauranga Eye Specialists and Dr Chow you are very valued people in this business...keep up the great work and thanks again for the great experience.

I had a Wavefront Guided-Smart Surface PRK surgery on 16th December 2022. Laser vision correction with Dr Trevor Gray at Re: Vision was life-changing surgery and one of the best choices I've made.It was incredible, quick, smooth, non-invasive and painless.Now my vision is improving a lot and clearer. After going to Spec Savings never being happy with glasses. Went to Wrights Optometrist would never go anywhere else now. Great service wear the glasses all the time. Price was no different than Spec Savers. Just way better all round.
