We had an awesome time doing the Ride the Waves tour. The walk along the coastline was really pretty and taking the horses into the water was a really cool experience. Lizzy and Amy were also very friendly and were great guides.

My 15 year old daughter and I (both inexperienced) did the 2 hour trek. Right from my first enquiry, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Muriwai Beach Horse Treks Auckland
Had a fantastic experience with my whanau. We had the one hour walk, with my wife and two kids. My littlest was very scared initially but warmed up to it with the assistance of Lucy, leading the trek. Tancy helped at the other end, keeping us going. Both guides are excellent.I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to give a horse ride a go.

High Country Horse Adventures - Lake Coleridge
My best friend and I LOVED this experience! We did a 6 hour trek and had a perfect day of weather. The horses were outstanding, Beer and Harley were ours for the day ans we couldn’t have been better looked after. Our guide, Shaun was AMAZING. He was so knowledgeable, kind and just an all round top guy!Lauren had only accidentally trotted previously and Shaun had her cantering through water by the end of the trek.Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for the best day! Already planning a trip to see you at the end of the year.

River Valley
Immaculate vibes from the staff and the river is gorgeous. Had a great time white water rafting. Just note that their only showers are in a roofed outdoor accommodation which adds to the rustic feel.

Heavenly Adventures
Great place to do a horse trek and get a look at the local area. This place is a bit of a drive, but it's worth it for the fantastic farmland and rivers you see, as well as lots of native bush.
