The house was very fascinating. A very interesting and thorough walkthrough and close up of Mansfield's life and writing career.

Went to the wildlife photo exhibition, then to other free exhibitions. A lovely informative place to go and the staff were very helpful.

Really great experience visiting the renewed Exscite with my two-year-old.I love the thought that went into the installations, and the downstairs looks amazing with the upgrade. On a rainy day with kids there's just no better place to go to!

Located in Hamilton, Waikato museum exhibits includes Māori culture, social history, and science. The museum has some interesting collections and is quite informative. The museum is not very big but perhaps worth a visit if you have some extra hours to spend in Hamilton.

A trip down memory lane for this one as I used to live at KM's house. It's well restored and a good representation of life back then. A worthwhile visit.

It was not planned visit but I enjoyed the house. There is an entry fee that made me slightly contemplating but overall the place was nice to visit, especially if you like her writing.

We thoroughly recommend this museum which gives a biographical account of Katherine Mansfield's colourful but short life. It also highlights domestic, family and local references in Mansfield's work. All this in a well restored and furnished home of her time. This is a museum for older students and adults.

This is a great treat and a wonderful example of early colonial living in Wellington. It reminds me of National Trust sites in the UK and is a really charming place with fascinating history even if you're not too aware of Katherine Mansfield.
