Excellent service, even for someone based in Wellington. Prompt communication which I really appreciate

I came in today with my daughter, and had an amazing customer service experience. I’d seen other earrings I liked elsewhere but the service here was fantastic - friendly but not pushy, and the two staff members had a really good energy about them, making me feel very comfortable. Even though I was being served by one, the other also joined in conversation and talked to my daughter also, which was really impressive as a lot of the time staff don’t care if it’s not “their” sale. As soon as we left my daughter said how nice the ladies were. Thanks for the amazing service today - you’re both an asset to Michael Hill!

I am so upset with my service I have received at the silverdale branch yesterday.My necklace broke on the 31st of July and I contacted Michael Hill online and they said please bring in the necklace and we will replace it. Then shortly after lockdown hit and I wasn’t able to come in store. Finally lockdown ended this month so I chatted a few days ago to someone online on the Michael Hill website and they said yes that’s fine please bring the necklace in to your closest branch.I ordered this necklace online because I don’t live close to a Michael Hill but I drove 50kms to Silverdale today to have my necklace replaced.I showed my receipt and was given a new necklace, it was on the counter and then just before I could leave I was told they actually can’t replace it as it is a month out of warranty I explained that it broke over lockdown and lockdown only lifted this month so I’m now coming in as I was told to do online. She says sorry there’s actually nothing we can do.My engagement ring is from Michael Hill I’ve been a loyal customer and to be turned away like that after being told multiple times to go in store is beyond frustrating.

I can't rave about this place enough.I went in to get a wedding band made, feeling slightly awkward that they specialise in big beautiful diamonds but I wanted something more on the plain gold side.Adrian made the experience so great! He listened to what I wanted and took my design and created something perfect and I left on such a high!He also told me to come back just before my wedding to get my engagement ring all polished up which I did today and the girls in the store were all super lovely, helping me fix a broken link on a bracelet while I was there.Highly recommend to everyone, and if ever I need jewellery made in the future, this is where I will be coming too!Thanks guys

I needed a watch wrap fixed and it was only a pulsar watch and the lovely English gentleman said he could fix it for me. He did that and also fixed the other side as it was about to break. No charge at all. Great customer service and if I ever won lotto I would go buy something from this store.

Great staff - I had a pair of snowboard boots that had snapped their Boa cables. The guys let me know the cables had a lifetime warranty and the only out of pocket expense was their time to replace the cables and re-string. Dropped the boots off at midday and they were ready to be picked up that same afternoon.
