Just had an engagement ring valued by Julia, she was great to communicate with via email. It was an easy process and would recommend the 1 hour service as you can just pop next door to Winona Forever for brunch / lunch while you wait.

I just spoke to the jewellery valuer Heather and had a horrendous experience!!Heather was very rude on the phone to both me and my husband. She kept calling my necklace Mangalsutra which it is not. When we corrected her she just kept saying it’s the same thing - culturally inappropriate and ignorant!! She then went on to say that 1 pavan is 10 g which it is not!! It is actually 8g. She degraded everything we said. Said that from a photo we sent she estimated the gold necklace to be 10 g lighter!! Based on no evidence. Then said that my platinum earrings can not possibly be platinum even though she has never seen them and became quite angry when we said that we don’t remember what shop they were bought from.Do NOT use JVC if you have rare items! You will be faced with cultural ignorance and rudeness.
