I had the pleasure of visiting Annette's store this week. Its an absolute little gem of a knitting yarn shop. The patterns are well displayed and had I had time I would have had a field day. There are lots of interesting yarns to suit everyone's interest and budget. Annette offered to bring some yarn to where I was staying while I was visiting from Queensland. I don't believe I have ever met such a lovely store owner looking after her business and me her customer. Thankyou Annette.

New Zealand Fabrics & Yarn
Fantastic little fabric shop tucked away in the heart of Auckland. (You need to head down Queen Arcade to get to it.) From yarn, to wool, thread to prints, this shop has it all. There are kits and patterns, most things to get started with or to complete that special hand made present. Staff are friendly and helpful. This place is easily accessible on your lunch break.

Lester’s carefully trained eye and architecture background now focused on producing the most beautiful range of fine hand dyed wool yarns. Seriously jaw dropping and always a fresh new range to choose from. She’s also approachable, friendly and values excellent customer service. I’m hooked!

Sew It
Sew It . I recently placed several orders for material and sewing accessories. The service was very efficient and exactly what I ordered. The time to process was excellent and I received my orders within 1 to 3 days of placing my order. From Christchurch to central North Island.

The Ribbon Rose
I am a beginner knitter, after 3 hats and two tea cozies, found my next project (a pretty good special)at the Ribbon Rose website. It was at the point of shipping, I found out the shop on the Great South Road is a 8-minute drive from my house. Frankly, i was wowed by the shop, a dream home for handy and seemingly creative people. It covers everything I need and more. A 15-minute pickup chore became an hour of lingering. You should check it out, they carry comprehensive range, from what I can see, quality stuff too, I quickly landed a couple more projects to take on board. Truly amazing!
