The park was nice done things way too high for young ones. Be careful on a hot day as the foam tar stuff gets too hot burnt our feet and the drive Also gets too hot. So be careful

The Esplanade Road Reserve
Lovely waterfront walkway and cycle trail with periodic noticed about the bird life and habitat. A pleasant walking experience but be prepared for undulating land. The only adverse observation is the abundance of sea lettuce" along the foreshore - tends to become smelly in the heat at low tide"

Another hidden gem. Perfect for walking dogs. Easy access, easy walk. Boardwalk over swampland, great natural historic Wairarapa Plains walk. Very impressed.

The falls is really hard to find and road is rough, be careful if you not driving a suv. But the scenery is good.
