Sinclair Wetlands Te Nohoaka o Tukiauau - HQ
An environmental gem hidden near Dunedin. Gravel road. The wetlands are being restored and offer a great chance to explore and examine flora and fauna. My two preschoolers and I walked the loop - easy walk and both girls (aged 3 and 4) made it round the 2 hr walk. Keep an eye out for the Department of Conservation Kiwi Guardian post too. Lots of wildlife and information panels. Good toilets. Can't wait to explore this in different weather and seasons.
