Yum I have been looking for a good ramen place in Akl for awhile now. There are lots of yummy ramen shops in Chch but that seems to be lacking in Akl.Finally I found it, thick yummy broth with hint of Bonito as well. My Dan Dan noodles were so good, not too spicy but I'm sure owner is happy to add some spice if you request it.Also we can choose the type of meat, I chose karage chicken which was nice.They also have wide range of donburi!Limited spaces so go earlier :)

It is literally a hidden gem"

First time trying this place. We saw this place while actually doing a night walk with some friends. We originally had some plans to go to another restaurant but saw this nice little shop and decide to try it after seeing the reviews. We ordered the shoyu ramen and the dan dan ramen with extra karaage and chashu pork. The ramen was very rich and thicky creamy broth, actually more thicker than I liked it. The ramen had nice texture, and the toppings was very generous and even included a half boiled egg. Both the karaage and chashu was nicely cooked, I would prefer the karaage to be served on the side. Everything tasted quite good but I think because of the thickness of the broth, it was little bit saltier than I like, but definitely will come back and give it another try on their yaki soba! Nice hidden place out East Auckland. Price is also reasonable.Also the homemade matcha pudding is 10/10 good. Like super amazing good.

Balanced flavour with well seasoned salmon and heaps of vege. Beetroot is a def good kick for the whole dish :) Recommended for balanced meal (photo has both karaage & salmon cuz I shared it with my family)

Absolutely delicious food - best Japanese ramen in Flat Bush area. I always order the miso tonkotsu and chicken katsu via Uber Eats or in-person. Never disappoints! Pity i had to move out of the area as usually I eat here regularly :/

So yum and fresh! Had leftovers the next day and it was still so fresh and tasty! 10/10
