I am very happy I found Brandon Food while casually searching for a new place. We are vegetarians & BFL has a separate menu section & so has variety for Vegetarians which is very rare.The food was fresh & delicious. We loved the food. Certainly recommend the place.

Horrible pie!! Raw pastry. We won't be back!

this place use to be amazing. i would often drive from taradale for a mince and cheese pie with chips the amount of cheese that would ozze from the pies with my dipping chips omg so perfect. they now have new owners and the food is nothing compared to what it use to be. the pie i got was jelly filled nonsense. yuck.

The new owners and staff are awesome, the food is now fresh and so good! A really good range of food!

Always freshly baked goods here, be it your usual pie's, chips and burgers. We'll stocked drinks and cakes galore of all favourite items served by happy staff.

First time trying them and they were so fresh and delicious I was surprised ordering a salad at night and the vegetables were spot on!! Will be a local customer for sure.

WOW^ That is all I have to say about our first time trying these guys.You see the pics on uber, you read the reviews, you are not sure (as you haven't heard of or seen this place before) on whether its going to be worth it etcIf you are reading this and you are not sure ORDER NOW! lol it is definitely worth it and now dangerous to our wallet as it was truly so fresh and tasty we are looking forward to our next order.Pork belly donburi - melt in your mouth pork belly. Tasty, soft, flavour is spot on especially with the teriyaki sauce and the salad 10/10 for that.Chicken katsu salad - I will be honest at first the chicken piece looked quite small especially compared to the size of the salad so I thought oh ok thats alright as it still looked nice. Then I tasted the salad with the dressing (more.salad pieces were under the chicken like beetroot, cucumber etc). That has got to be the one of the freshest salads with such a yummy variety of colorful veges ive bought from a store in a while and to be honest I forgot about the chicken as I was enjoying the salad so much lol but when I did try that chicken with the salad it was just so delish the size of the chicken piece didn't matter at all. 10/10Overall the portions are a great size even when they dont appear to look like they are. The meat is so tender and full of flavour (chicken and pork belly) and the salad ingredients are so fresh and tasty and vibrant and whoever makes that dressing sesame type sauce high five to you it is so delish.Highly recommend!Sorry for the novel review but it was really worth it we will definitely be ordering again :-)

Blue Carrot cratered our wedding at the end of October and were amazing. They were so thorough with every detail leading up to the wedding and making sure they got it right. On the day itself, they set up beautifully and were incredibly attentive to make sure everyone had a drink and all dietary requirements were met. The food was delicious!Thank you for making it easy!

Blue Carrot catered our February wedding at The Boatshed, and they were fantastic. Food wise, we went with a buffet for dinner to provide our guests more options (lots of meat eaters, vegetarians and GF folks), and it was great! So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the variety and quality of the food.Service wise, they were also fantastic. These guys really know what they're doing. The team was organised and helpful leading up to the wedding. As well, because of their experience catering weddings around Wellington (they were very familiar with our venue the Boatshed), they were a treasure trove of advice! We frequently sought their advice on decisions (e.g., what variety of drinks to serve, how long a cocktail hour should be, etc). On the actual day, the team was great! The event flowed so smoothly, due both in part to their advice leading up to the wedding and their amazing-ness on the actual day.Would absolutely recommend Blue Carrot.

Great pies!! Starting to get quite pricey though!!
