This place is for people who need a bit of advise and idea. The staff here are very kind as they have helped me too. You will also find Immigration NZ application forms here too. They guided me about a legal matter as to how I can go to Disputes Tribunal.

What a fabulous building in a wonderful setting. Clean toilets but staff didn't even acknowledge we were there, photos in displays were faded and tired, and even simple words mis-spelt. Got the impression DoC have become dis-interested.

Definitely a very needed service. The times I went I had no issues with my paperwork and the J.O.Ps were pleasant enough. But my comment would be about the time. You have to be there early to be seen in the short timeframe they are avaliable if not before otherwise you can get turned away or redirected somewhere else.

We would like to commend Eunice at the Kawerau I-site for her helpful manner when she assisted us with info on Kawerau's wonderful motorhome facilities - Good sized/well marked parking spots; free 3 day access to electricity points (and a good number of these); lovely location, especially at Firmin Park where we decided to stay; great walking paths along the Tarawera River bank.We visited the town around Waitangi Day and attended the celebrations in town. A visit to your free swimming pool, including a hot pool, was a great bonus. Nice to see it is free for residents too. The District Council is very far sighted, justifying a tourist detour on the traditional way up from BOP to Rotorua.Eunice has a great attitude and presents a very positive image for Kawerau. We must come back and add a visit to the Tarawera Falls!Kind regards and thanks,Stuart and Trudi HarrisonNZ citizens/NZMCA members

Very helpful place with immigration advice, Justices of Peace, Advices with anything. Awesome staffs that are always there to help you with anything. There are chairs there it your waiting to see the JP. But you have to be in order to see the JP. If you want any papers to be printed it's 20cents or 50cents now. If you need paper's or information for anything just ask and they shall help you with it.
